I believe in the inherent goodness of people, and I hold onto the hope that one day I can capture the essence of love in words. My aim is to paint vivid pictures using only a combination of letters, unlocking imagination with clever references, quick rhymes, and compelling metaphors to seize your attention. It might sound cliché, but when I was a boy, a wise mentor looked into my eyes, peered into my soul, and told me I had the power to make the world a more beautiful place. I believed her, and that belief led me to where I am today.

I have ventured down many strange pathways in my mind, not all of which proved advantageous on life's journey. However wrong, terrifying, or dumb a decision I have made—and continue to make—one thing I know for certain is that I will write about it. I have written about it, and I will more than likely write something about everyone I meet. I write of what I see, but mainly I write of what is felt underneath: I write about the aftermath. The things we wish we would have said, could have said, should have said. I live there, some days. Yet, other days I sing in the sun as the white rain pours over me, and I try to capture those moments. I write of joy, I write of pain. I write of love, I write of loss. I describe life, I have witnessed death; and one can never exist without the other. I am now moving to the Dominican Republic to find better days. I will continue to write until I reach my end. Until then, as I said, I hope you enjoy.
